Speed Racer is actually Classic 1 !

After seeing Classic 1 on the Power Block a few months ago, the people at Warner Bros. said
"This is the car we've been looking for" !

Classic 1 was chosen to represent the real to life and drivable version of the famous Speed Racer.
A quick deal was struck, a car was completed and painted white and then shipped to Hollywood for the
"Red Carpet Premier" of Speed Racer the Movie.

The new Speed Racer movie premieres May 9th,
but we’ve got our own tribute to the Mach 5 and an early look at the movie.
The movie was directed by Andy and Larry Wachowski; the same guys who
made the Matrix trilogy.
